Being Senior 👵 🎓

Being a Senior has brought a lot of stress, however I have enjoyed myself with my friends a lot. Yet, the best moment I think I have had this year has been PROM. Being able to get dressed up and dance with people I love was one of the best experiences I have had. Of Course, there were many things that I didn't like from the venue, or how I got my dress last minute but that made the night even more special. What I love most about this special moment was the fact that my good friend JoJo and I both dressed greaser style aka the 50's look. Since forever I have been a fond of the look and being able to express my love towards that era I couldn't ask for more.
Besides having my friends around me I also got to meet new people. My friend Samantha brought a good friend of hers that made us laugh and have a good time. I did not expect to meet new people at Prom but I guess I was wrong.
Prom was a special night that I will always remember and that is why I believe it was the best Senior Moment I have had so far.

Best Moment in High School 🎒 🏫

I have had many amazing experiences through out my High School life, however one event that stands out is when I met my best friend, fake novia 💏, and bully Jennifer Chavez. I have always been a small group type of person, but the one thing is a connection with someone and Jennifer gave me that. We were both isolated in 9th grade with no one to talk to, and yet it was still hard to talk. It was not till I kept speaking to her that she opened up to me.
Since 9th grade we have done everything together, we go to field trips 🚌, each others homes, and she sometimes sleeps over. I can state that I would have not survived high school without Jennifer. During my stay at Simon Tech I had fights 🔪,  and at many times did not know what to do during math class. And for that I thank the day that I met Jennifer and decided to talk to her.
Besides meeting Jennifer I can say that my best moments I have spend have been with Jennifer. We go out a lot even though our moms are very strict. We have went to Knott's Scary Farm twice, to El Teatro De La Raza, and the Beach.
Overall I will not change the experience I have had in school, because it wouldn't be the same without Jennifer.

Government Class: Best Moment

The best moment I had in government class is when we were going to leave for winter break. It may sound harsh, but I enjoy time alone more than when people around me can not even read the word "president". It was a great weak before we left, we had little assignments and my grades looked flawless. I can say that it was the best week I had in government. I also had my friends around me and I learn new things about new people that caused excitement to the gossip side of me. Knowing that I was going to get a piercing got me even more exited. I had been wanting a piercing for a really long time and that made government class easier to live by.
However, I can not state that all my time in class was bad. I enjoyed some of the discussions we had in class and was able to see different view points of my classmates. Discussions in class were very interesting because we never spoke about the same thing but everyone seem to be against what are consider to be republicans. Speaking to people and explaining my side of the story allowed me to point out the flaws of the democrats and realize that not everyone is 100% against Donald Trump.
Overall I loved and hated the time I spent in Government, but ca say that government opened my mind a lot and allowed me to see people with different eyes. I was bale to learn that not all people are the same and that we have to accept different ideas.

The Stock Market 📚

The Stock Market is where stocks are bought and sold. The stocks in a way are claimed by companies and throughout time can increase or decrease in value. However buying and selling isn't as easy as it sounds, you have to go through a process where ticker symbols are used (all securities traded on the stock exchange have a ticker symbol). Not all stocks are out to the public though there is a difference between company only owned stocks and public offerings.
When trying to get rid of a stock you can always exchange it this is done on multiple medias like the New York Stock Exchange or the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Articles of Confederation

The Articles of Confederation were weak and did not allow The United States to flow as smoothly as many planned. The 13 colonies adopted the Articles of Confederation in order to prevent the Government to take as much power as England had done with its people. However these laws were not all that good, taxation were done by state which meant that there was no accurate taxation fee. There was a limit to the power that the government had over the people and many believed it was too much or too little. Major roles that the government could touch on with the articles in hand were: 1) maintain military forces 2) declare war 3) coin currency 4) handle Indian affairs 5) create a postal service. Having different states follow different laws became very difficult, issues like slavery and and land claiming became big and the lack of communication increased issues among the states. After living under the Articles the Government and the states themselves believe that the Articles of Confederation needed revision and more understanding on what was the role of the states and the government themselves. 

  

1st Amendment

Knowing your rights in this country can favor you a lot. That is why in class I listened to all my rights that were given to me in the first amendment: 1) Freedom of Speech 📢2)Freedom of Religion 🕇 3)Freedom of Press 📰4) Freedom of Assembly 🙌5) Freedom of Petition📜. Understanding your rights allows you to practice them without fearing that you may be in prison or killed because of what you believe in.
As a US citizen we can speak when we want and not speak at all when we do not want to, along with believing in what we want. The United States can not claim a religion in it's favor and most of all can not force us to believe in something or in someone. Along with not being forced to believe the United States can not show favoritism to a certain religion or give money💰 to a certain church. Another right that was given to us at birth was the right of press and assembly. Before our rights were given people could not speak openly about anything, but now we can. We can write and mention gossip and news about the government and anything or anyone wound us. We are no longer tied down to follow rules of someone that want to hide things from the public. The right of assembly is also a very big and meaningful right that allows people to not only protest but to join groups were they believe their rights are going to be fought for. The right of assembly can allow people to protest when they are being judged💬 or something or someone is causing them harm or planning to do so. Besides all this petition can be claimed to be the strongest right of all. With the power of petition people can ask for a law or for a right to be given. with petition people can unite and get government to change or act upon a certain cause that is harmful🔫🔪💣 to the citizens of the United States.
Overall, knowing your rights can allow you to live a very happy 😇 and chaos free life, when you know your rights no one can try to own you or treat you different. As a US citizen you have rights so use them. 😃
